About

I am a semi-abstract expressionist artist working in water-soluble materials; mainly watercolour paint, colour pencils and graphite. I also use soft pastels. My paintings and drawings are small to medium scale and I am particularly interested in how line and colour come together in small to medium scale seascapes and landscapes.

Spending time with art, making it and looking at it gives me great fulfilment. I spend my time in both South Dorset and London and this allows me to experience two dynamics in art I most enjoy – the natural beauty of the seascape and landscape and celebrating the international slants in which we view the world and cultures.
